1. In the app
Riders
- Open Fiafia Ride and sign in.
- Tap Account (top of the home screen).
- Tap Settings And Privacy.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
You cannot delete your account while a ride is in progress. Finish or cancel the ride first.
Captains
- Open Fiafia Ride and sign in as a captain.
- Open your Profile.
- Tap Settings And Privacy.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
This is refused while you owe a Platform Fee or are on a trip. Pay the office or finish the trip first.
2. Without the app
Contact the office from the email address of your account, and say that you want your Fiafia Ride account deleted: fiafiaride@gmail.com, +685 XXXXXXX. We may ask you to confirm it is your account before we delete it.
3. What is deleted
Riders
- Your sign-in, name, phone number, address and profile photo.
- Your saved places (Home and favourites).
- The pickup and drop-off places of your trips, their recorded routes, and your in-trip messages.
- The comments in your ratings, and in ratings captains gave you, and the messages in your problem reports.
- The collect place details of your car rental requests.
- The notification tokens of your phones.
Captains
Your sign-in is switched off and your account is hidden. Your details, documents, trips and Platform Fee account are kept, so the account can be restored if you come back, and for accounting. To ask for more to be removed, contact the office (section 2).
4. What is kept, and for how long
- For accounting, we keep basic trip records without your name: the trip date and time, the fare, and the captain.
- Captain accounts (Platform Fee, payments and statements) are kept for accounting.
- These records are kept for accounting and tax, for as long as the law requires.
- Trip routes and in-trip messages are deleted 30 days after the trip, unless a problem report is still open.
